Jostaberry (Ribes x culverwellii) Large Potted Plant Twisp Pick Up ONLY

$20.00
Only 3 available

Latin name: Ribes x culverwellii
Plant Family: Gooseberry (Grossulariaceae)
Lifespan: Perennial
Origin: Cross between a currant and gooseberry. Origin unknown.
Growing: Since it’s a fruit producing crop, it does best in sunny positions (although it does tolerate shade) with rich, moist soil. It isn’t susceptible to a mildew and pest that currants and gooseberry are. Really easy to grow.
Edibility: Berries are edible and quite large. I always get more fruit from a jostaberry bush than from either a currant or gooseberry.
Permaculture Uses: Fairly drought tolerant and a resilient food crop. Also really high yielding.

7 Layers Nursery cannot take any responsibility for any adverse effects from the use of plants. Always do research and seek advice from a professional before consuming and/or using a plant medicinally.
